Boys’ recruit: Conestoga (PA) 2016 defenseman Reilly commits to Virginia

Conestoga (PA) rising sophomore defenseman Jack Reilly has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Virginia.

High school: Conestoga High School

Graduation year: 2016

Position: Defense

College choice: University of Virginia

Club affiliation: NXT Lacrosse 2016

Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: Conestoga Varsity, PIAA State Runner Up 2013, Central League Co-Champions 2013, NXT Invitational 2012

What will you major in/study: Undecided

Why did you choose UVA?
“I’ve always wanted to go to UVA because of its outstanding academic reputation. The opportunity to play lacrosse at Virginia is special because of its tradition, and I admire the way that Coach Dom Starsia and the entire staff run their program. Every year UVA has a good chance to win a National Championship. I just feel like it’s a great fit for me.”

Outlook for your high school team:
“I think Conestoga has the ability to compete for a State Championship again next year.”
