Howard (MD) 2017 goalie Sam Sagi has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Lehigh University.

What will you major in/study? Industrial Engineering
Why did you choose school? “I selected Lehigh University because it fulfilled both my requirements of Division I lacrosse and Industrial Engineering. I also loved the coaching staff and the players that I met through my visits to the clinics, camps, and campus visits. I am ready to ‘rock the brown uniforms.'”
Outlook for your High School team? “Howard ended strong last year with many great lacrosse players back and ready to work together to develop into an even stronger team. We plan to work very hard to make it to the 4A State Finals this spring.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my family for always being behind me 100% of the time. I also want to thank Coach Erin Leishear for introducing me and my family to lacrosse when I was six and then putting me in the goal for our travel team when no one else wanted to be the goalie.
“A special thanks to my M&D club coaches (Arvak Marshall, Sara Marshall, and KC Emerson) for helping me to improve my skills while remembering to have fun. They always remind us to play for each other, not with each other.”
