Leading Edge Elite (N.J.) claimed the 2015 championship Sunday at the National Invitational Best of the Best Team Showcase at Mitchel Complex in Uniondale, N.Y.
Leading Edge Elite won the 2015 title at the Best of the Best
Leading Edge blanked Twist Lacrosse (PA), 7-0, to claim the title. It also downed Team Turnpike (N.J.), 5-3 in the semifinals and the Crabs 2015, 5-4, in the semifinals.
The title was the third of the summer for the LE 2015 squad. It earlier won the NSCLA Cup at Franklin & Marshall and the second session of King of The Hill at McDaniel College.
Twist defeated the Building Blocks (N.J.) and Resolute (Ohio) Sunday morning to clinch the pool title and advance to the semifinals, where Twist knocked off the CT Chargers, 4-1.
