The crazy winter weather has carried over to the spring, greatly affecting the lacrosse schedule throughout the East Coast.

Friday’s East Coast snowstorm forced the loss of two huge games involving teams in the Epoch Lacrosse North America Boys’ Rankings. No. 2 Haverford School (PA) was to host No. 10 Hill Academy (Ontario) at 9 a.m., but the field was too icy. The game could be reschedule for late April when Hill Academy returns to the Philly area.High-School-News

Meanwhile on Long Island, No. 3 Chaminade was to play at perennial power Ward Melville, but that game also was postponed. It will be reschedule at a later date.

Today at noon, No. 17 Malvern Prep (PA) is slated to host Gilman School (MD) as long as the field conditions are good. Also today at 4 p.m., Episcopal Academy (PA) is slated to play No. 1 Culver Military Academy (2-0) of Indiana at 4 p.m. It is expected that the game will start at the scheduled time.

The good news is that the One Love Springfest is being played at the St. Paul’s Schools (MD). The event features six games, including four involving ranked teams from the Epoch Lacrosse and STEPS Lacrosse Girls’ Rankings. Click here for the full preview article on the event.
