OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Another game, another win for McDonogh School’s girls’ lacrosse team.
The top-ranked team in the STEPS Lacrosse North America Rankings handled No. 7 Mount Hebron (MD), 20-4, in a non-league contest Saturday.

Duke University recruit Olivia Jenner had five goals for McDonogh (14-0), and Elizabeth George added three goals and two assists. Cammy Case finished with a goal and assist for Mt Hebron (8-1).
McDonogh has won 126 straight games.
After falling behind early, McDonogh ran off 12 straight scores between the first and second halves. Eagles coach Chris Robinson thinks his team is playing its best lacrosse.
“We’re getting better as a team each week. The kids are staying focused and we’re starting to put all the parts together,” Robinson said.
Like in last weekend’s demolition of the then-No. 3 team, Bishop Ireton, McDonogh was dominant in every facet against the perennial Maryland public power. The Eagles won 24 of 26 draws behind Jenner, playing her first game after suffering an ankle sprain nearly 10 days ago.
The Vikings scored first Saturday on Sorana Larson’s goal, but five straight goals, capped by George’s strike off the draw started another McDonogh romp. The Eagles led 11-3 at halftime.
McDonogh forced a running clock after Kelsey Cummings’ unassisted goal with 17:15 left in regulation. Cummings, sophomore attack Catie May (verbally committed to Maryland), freshman attack Julia Hoffman and junior Savannah Buchanan (Notre Dame commit) each finished with two goals.
