Vail Shootout followup: PA Express girls finished second, gained big win over Colorado power

A team of 16 PA Express players’ representing the Express 2014 Orange and the Express 2014 Blue teams placed second in the Girls’ U19 Division at the 41st annual Vail Shootout during the July 4 Weekend.

The Express stunned second seed Colorado 180 beating them 12-8 despite the obvious advantage the Colorado team enjoyed by reason of the familiarity with the elevation (8,000+ feet!).

Express midfielders Devin Hassinger (Owen J. Roberts), Nicole Barretta (Downingtown East), Katie O’Donnell (Henderson) were named to the All Vail Shootout team.
