Major lacrosse honors, camps and showcases: All-State, all-conference, broke school (St.Ignatius) record for all-time career points; Summer: two-time King of the Hill all-star, Gait Cup all-star, Philly-Invitational all-star, Blue Chip 225 all-star, two-time Good to Great all-star, CST Expo all-star
What will you major in/study? Pre-approved for the Business Management program
Why did you choose school? “The team has great guys and great coaches and they played in a great league.”
Why I chose school? “It’s an exceptional school and I’m already in the Business School. It’s a very beautiful college campus, with very welcoming students, and Coach (Joe) Connor is a coach I’d love to play for. He’s a great guy.”
Team’s 2016 outlook: “Since I’m new here at Hotchkiss (PG), I’m still learning about our squad; I know we have a solid defense. There are some teams in the Founders League that probably have more talent than we do but, I think that any thing is achievable through hard work. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. Every single game in the Founders League this year is going to be a battle and hopefully we can come out with the most W’s.”
Thank You: “I’d like to thank my original club, Coach Justin Porter, because he helped me with Bucknell and he was the one to truly show me what hard work is. I’d also like to thank my high school coaches, Kyle McGuire and Jeff Pfeffer, for giving me confidence and pushing me everyday at practice. Obviously, I’d like to thank my parents for allowing me and providing me with everything I needed to chase my dream of playing college lacrosse. Lastly, I’d like to thank my brother Charlie, whose a defenseman for DePauw University, for making me better in one-on-one drills.”
Other schools considered: Drexel, Brown, Dartmouth, Amherst, Washington & Lee, Holy Cross
