Bel Air High School (MD) 2018 midfielder Lauren Asher has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Winthrop University.

What will you major in/study? Exercise Science

Why did you choose Winthrop? “Winthrop University had everything I was looking for; strong academics, a successful lacrosse program, small in population, and a great location.”

Outlook for 2016 HS season? “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to return to the state finals this year, and hopefully come away with a win.”
