What will you major in/study? English with a minor in business/management.

Why did you choose the school? “I have dreamed of being a Wildcat since I was in 4th grade. I am honored to play and work hard for Coach Kelly Amonte-Hiller and the Northwestern woman’s lacrosse program. For as long as I can remember, I have taken my education very seriously and the academic opportunities at Northwestern are numerous. Despite being a plane trip away from my family and friends, I am excited for the challenges Northwestern will bring me as an athlete and a student. The time I have spent in Evanston so far has introduced me to phenomenal people and a team that will allow me to grow as a lacrosse player. A year ago, my decision to commit to Northwestern felt like the perfect fit and now one year away from attending college I am even more confident and excited for the chance to do something I have always dreamed about and worked towards.”

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team’s outlook for next season? “Being on the field at WWP North with girls that I have grown up with, especially my little sister Carli, is such a valuable experience. We have so much fun working hard together and this past season showed we are capable of having each other’s back and achieving goals such as our CVC (Colonial Valley Conference) Colonial Division Title and 2012 Mercer County Team Championship. Next season we will be one year older, stronger and tougher and hope to improve not only on individual skills but on competing as a team. We will not have the amazing seniors who graduated this year and it is our priority to build on our mistakes and successes from the 2013 season. There is always room for improvement and better preparation and we are excited for our next chance to play together.

Thank You: “The WWP North girls lacrosse coaching staff has been incredible and head coach Beth Serughetti deserves an enormous thank you for her time and support. Coach Bernadette Connor, who will coach at Kean University this season, is another coach who was always there for me and the team and will be greatly missed. I would like to mention and thank Coach Cory Easter for his time and the chance to learn how to play lacrosse, as well as Coach Gaddy Fortune for the most memorable summer of lacrosse I have ever had. Thank you to Michele DeJuliis and all of my Ultimate coaches for their support and knowledge of the game. Finally, I would like to thank my teammates for always being there as well as my parents and sister for the love, thank you for being you.”
