The Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) has announced that the 2015 PNC MIAA Lacrosse Championships, the premier boys high school championships in the state of Maryland, will take place at historic Homewood Field at Johns Hopkins University this spring.
“We are extremely excited about the return of the MIAA lacrosse championships to Johns Hopkins,” stated MIAA Executive Director Lee Dove. “The history, tradition and prestige of Homewood Field certainly lend itself to the level of our championship event.”
The event had been held at Towson University in recent years.
The two MIAA A Conference semifinals will be held on May 12 beginning at 5 p.m. The semifinal winners will advance to Championship Friday on May 15 when all three divisions compete for their respective MIAA crowns. The C Conference championship game at 3 p.m. starts all the action on Championship Friday followed by the B Conference title game at 5:30 p.m. The A Conference champion will be decided at 8 p.m.
PNC, the event’s title sponsor, has continued its strong commitment to the event as well as Maryland secondary education and the sport of lacrosse.
“PNC is thrilled to continue our support of championship high school lacrosse in Maryland. We want to help promote the sport to a larger audience while bolstering the academic and athletic programs of area participating schools,” said Laura Gamble, PC Bank Regional President. Since 2010, PNC has provided $48,000 in donations to MIAA Championship schools.

TICKET INFORMATION
General Admission tickets for both dates are $8 in advance and $10 on the day of the game. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance through participating schools. One ticket gets fans into all games played on that particular date.
