They are St. Mary’s Annapolis and Loyola Blakefield.

Calvert, ranked No. 10 by Epoch Lacrosse, Hall fell to 8-2 and 1-1 in the MIAA.

St. Mary’s coach Ben Rubeor credited his team’s chemistry, resolve and defensive play.

“I thought that our team played hard,” he said. “You can tell they care about each other. Our defensive coordinator, Victor Lilly, has done a great job since taking over.

“We have a big senior class. We will go as they go this year, and I hope they continue to let their personality show.

“Calvert Hall is a very good team with some of the best coaches that I know. They are and will continue to be a tough team for anyone to play.”
