The Fords survived a major challenge Saturday from Brunswick School (CT) with an 8-7 win in their Checking for Cancer invite.
2. Massapequa (N.Y.) 7-0 Last week: No. 3
The Chiefs downed Wantagh (N.Y.) 16-8 on Thursday.
3. Syosset (NY) 8-0 last week: No. 4
The Braves should sail into their April 25 date with No. 2 Massapequa with an undefeated record.
4. Darien (CT) 2-0 last week: No. 12
The Blue Wave handled a strong Niskayuna (N.Y.), 11-5.
5. Landon School (MD) 11-1 Last week: No. 2
The Bears got shocked by St. Ignatius Prep, but their big game is today when they meet Georgetown Prep in an IAC showdown.
6. Hill Academy (ONT, Canada) 5-1 Last week: No. 8
Hill defeated Detroit Country Day School, 10-3, on Sunday.
