Garden City (N.Y.) moved up to No. 11 in the Brine/TopLaxRecruits.com North America Girls’ Rankings by rallying past Suffern (N.Y.), 12-10, on Saturday and improving to 4-0.
The Trojans were down to the host Mounties, 8-3, at halftime, but went on a 9-2 run and went ahead for good on a goal by Kayla Murphy.
Earlier in the week, Garden City edged Wantagh (N.Y.), 8-7, as Tara DeAngelo finished a hat trick with less than 4 seconds to play to win it.
Also on Long Island, Smithtown East cracked the Top 20 at No. 12 with a huge 10-9 win over Bay Shore.
